Slim-Fast® Uses Mobile Digital Retail Media Channel to Reach On-the-Go Sam’s Club Shoppers With a Valuable Weight-Loss Application Right On their Mobile Devices
TAMPA, FL – February 16, 2011 – (BUSINESS WIRE) – Triad Retail Media has developed a branded mobile weight-loss application for Unilever’s Slim-Fast® brand and Sam’s Club, the nation’s eighth largest retailer and a member of the Triad Retail Media retailer network. The mobile app empowers Slim-Fast® to interact with Sam’s Club shoppers by providing them with a valuable roadmap to weight loss that fits into their active lifestyles.
By partnering with Triad, Sam’s Club can provide customized advertising opportunities for its brand partners like Slim-Fast®. With weight loss a common New Year’s resolution, Slim-Fast® was looking for unique ways to support consumers in their New Year’s weight loss goals. With this new mobile tool designed and developed by Triad, users can enter weight, height and plan completion date into a weight loss calculator and receive a customized meal plan designed to work in conjunction with Slim-Fast® products. The mobile tool also includes a club locator, so users can easily find the closest Sam’s Club location where they can purchase Slim-Fast® snacks, shakes and meal bars while they are on the go.
