Hashim Alawami is a Vice President in the Boston Office. Mr. Alawami focuses on growth equity investment opportunities for H.I.G. Growth Partners, where he is responsible for sourcing, executing, and monitoring investments.

Hashim Alawami is a Vice President at H.I.G. Growth Partners in the Boston office, where he focuses on majority and minority equity investments in high-growth companies in the lower middle market.

Hashim is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities as well as supporting existing portfolio companies.

Prior to joining H.I.G., Hashim worked for Tritium Partners, a middle market private equity firm based in Austin, where he focused on majority and minority investments in technology-enabled companies. Hashim began his career in management consulting at McKinsey & Company based out of Houston.

Hashim received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University and received an M.B.A. / M.A. from the Wharton School and the Lauder Institute both at the University of Pennsylvania.
