Mark is based in the San Francisco office. In his role, he partners with our portfolio organizations to develop and build comprehensive marketing and digital strategies throughout an organization including customer acquisition, customer lifecycle, monetization, infrastructure, brand development and user experience. Mark has 15 years of experience in consumer and retail marketing, building teams at companies ranging in scale from startups to Fortune 500 organizations.
Prior to joining H.I.G., Mark was the VP of Marketing at Credit Karma, a global consumer finance company, where he built the team responsible for member growth and engagement. He also led online & offline marketing at Ancestry where he launched media for the world’s #1 DTC consumer DNA testing brand and helped build out global digital marketing for the Gap family of brands. Mark has deep consumer and retail marketing experience, launching new businesses and brands over the last decade.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Michigan State University.
